On Monday, Integrity Sports Agency named Arizona guard Bennedict Mathurin as ISA Player of the Week for the South Region of this year’s NCAA Tournament.
Mathurin led Arizona to a pair of wins, scoring 48 total points in the two and leading the Wildcats to the Sweet 16. In the second-round overtime win over TCU, Mathurin scored 30 points, including a massive game-tying three near the end of regulation and an and-one bucket in overtime that sealed the victory for Arizona.
Mathurin and Arizona will now take on Houston on Thursday night for a chance to advance to the Elite Eight.
